About our Founder
Lawrence Nobriga became interested in electronics following his service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His passion for technology and understanding of its crucial role in both the advancement and protection of nations, led him to investigate opportunities for serving in this field. He first co-founded a PCB manufacturing company in 1972 and after 3 years in business, branched out on his own to launch Bay Area Circuits. Under his leadership, BAC became renowned for its investment in innovation and leadership in prototype printed circuit board manufacturing for Silicon Valley’s leading technology companies.

As a member of the Association Connecting Electronics Industries (IPC), we adhere to all quality guidelines, specifications, and standards for our industry. We also achieved ISO 9001 and ITAR certifications, which surpass industry expectations and demonstrate our commitment to the highest quality control standards and rigorous compliance with top security and privacy protocols. The ITAR certification through the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Controls (DDTC) designates BAC as an approved manufacturer for sensitive military and defense projects.
